At the dawn of 2024, Acts and Pathways collaborated with Shanghai Pudong Kerry Parkside to create a New Year installation called “Blessing Tied in Knot”, drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese knots’ elements. This installation embodies both traditional culture and formal innovation, while also being interactive.

Chinese knots techniques stem from 12 basic knots, which are the smallest units for creating knots. AP summarized and refined these 12 basic knots, presenting them into graphical language. After discussed with Kerry Parkside, five representative knots were chosen: the Longevity Knot, Peace Knot, Wenchang Knot, Double Coin Knot, and Four-leaf clover Knot, symbolizing love, health, academic success, prosperity, and happiness. Each knot was given multiple layers and the ability to rotate on a graphical basis, and they were connected by a main structure resembling an enlarged version of a knot. Thus, a brand-new Chinese knot installation was created!

2024新年伊始，活络与上海浦东嘉里城合作，将传统的中国结元素作为灵感来源，创造了一个既包含传统文化又具有形式创新，还兼具参与性的2024新年装置——【中国节·中国结】。

中国结的编法来源于12种基本结，即可以组合变化出复杂结形的最小单位。活络对12种基本结进行了总结、提炼，再用图形化的语言来进行呈现。经过筛选，我们最终选出了五个代表：爱情、健康、文昌、财运、幸福的中国结，它们分别是：盘长结、平安结、文昌结、双钱结和四叶草结。每种结在图形化的基础上又赋予了它多层、可旋转的功能，最后用一个形似放大版结绳的主结构将其串联起来。一个全新的、带着美好寓意的中国结装置就诞生了！
