[X Part] is an experimental segment of the [2025 XINTIANDI Creative X Conference], reimagining familiar venues—pharmacies, bus shelters, hardware stores, newsstands—within a speculative “future district” setting at CPIC XINTIANDI, Shanghai. Tasked with designing the street Booth, Acts and Pathways approached the project with an emphasis on openness, flexibility, and public engagement, while meeting the diverse display needs of partner brands under tight budget and fabrication constraints. We developed a standardized 1200×2400mm “display rack matrix,” enabling efficient construction and adaptable configurations. Through assembling and connecting these modules, each pavilion acquired its own spatial typology. The multi-day experiment is only a starting point in exploring what future urban districts might become. For today’s and tomorrow’s commercial real estate, this remains a vast question requiring continual inquiry and experimentation. Each commission becomes a new point of departure for our ongoing reflections on future commerce and community forms.

X Part未来街区作为中国上海新天地 [2025 CreativeX 创意大会] 的实验版块，于上海太平洋新天地中庭呈现，以“未来街区”想象重构药店、候车亭、五金店、报刊亭等日常场景。活络受邀为街区中的六个街亭进行设计，每个街亭既要呈现出它们本身的空间属性又要满足每个合作品牌的展示需求，且能控制在一个经济实惠的造价下完成是这次设计任务的最大挑战。对此，我们开发了一套 1200×2400mm 标准化的“展架矩阵”，为的是符合市面上的成品板材的尺寸，以此来最大化利用板材，不产生过多的裁切和浪费。通过拼装连接形成各街亭的独特空间属性，实现了高效制作与多样表达的目的。这次为期数日的实验只是探讨未来城市街区的开端，关于未来的城市街区会是什么样，对于今天和未来的商业地产来说这是一个很大的命题，需要持续的探讨和实验。每一次委托也成为我们持续思考未来商业与社区形态的路径起点。
